Here in Virginia I scout high school juniors, sophomores, freshmen, and a few of the top nationally-ranked eighth-graders,: everyone else scouts seniors in addition. I don’t scout high school seniors. Two other reasons to read this website: My website also reports on the actual traveling to the game. Although I graduated from UVa, I am not recruiting for UVa, and I do not try to encourage prospects to go to UVa nor to any specific university! Maybe you’re new to the world of college recruiting, and will be interested in my traveling in addition to just the recruiting evaluations. I don’t like scouting basically seniors, who may commit to a university days later: who wants to read about a player who’s already about to commit to your arch rival? This way, I’m scouting and reporting on a player who still may have 1-3 years of high school football/basketball left!
